Jose Luis Stevens holds a PhD in Counseling Psychology, and has worked for many years as a practicing psychotherapist. He is cofounder of the Power Path School of Shamanism with his wife Lena, and has completed a ten year apprenticeship with a Huichol shaman in Mexico. Jose has continued his study of shamanism for more than twenty years with Shipibo shamans in the upper Amazon and more recently, with Q’ero Pagos (shamans) in the Andes of Peru.
He has taught indigenous wisdom and shamanism all over the world, and is the author of numerous books about shamanism and personal transformation.
